What I learned making infinite runner

I wanted to make an animated hamster running in a hamster wheel. It would meet all kinds of perils. It would be in 3d. You could see things happening in the background. A story unfolding. The hamster would just be running. Chugging along.
Keeping the hamster running would be keeping the story running. Oh what a marvelous story it could be. Instead I made this prototype. It has no story. Its just mildly nauseating. I had 2 spinning circles at first, 1 bigger and 1 smaller. I got vertigo just playtesting it. It had to go.
I learned to work with audio a bit better and to use particles. I used a space themed background music from https://opengameart.org/content/space-atmospere (Alexandr Zhelanov, https://soundcloud.com/alexandr-zhelanov). I loved the music. I made my own jump sounds with Audacity.
Public variables to change things in the game on the fly. So I can test while playing. I've tried to set better variable names but meh...
Also maybe I should start commenting my code haha I wont understand jack all a day from now.
Maybe I'll put that hamster idea in a cage somewhere safe.
